Entertainment

Living at Bethel Center, in our home-like setting, provides many opportunities for social interaction with other residents. Throughout your stay, you'll be offered ways to get involved in different committees such as our Activities Planning Committee or Resident Council program. Our Resident Council is composed of more than 20 members who preserve residents rights and ensure that they are carried out for our residents. Our staff encourages residents to show their individuality by choosing the daily activities that they are interested in. Throughout the week, residents can also participate in a special coffee chat, bingo, book club, cooking classes, exercise classes, Bible studies, trivia, and card game groups. Religious services are held during the week for residents who would like to attend. We invite all of our residents to join us for our special movie nights to relax and enjoy watching some of their favorite actors on screen. Be it Garbo, Gable or the latest action hero, residents highly enjoy this time of entertainment. Residents may choose to go on our center outings twice monthly including shopping trips and a restaurant of the group's choice. Reading and talking books are also available to our residents to utilize during their stay.

Medical Care

Throughout the day, you'll be provided with the medical and rehab care to help get you back home as quickly as possible. Our interdisciplinary team of skilled nurses, licensed rehab professionals and medical director are thoroughly involved in your care and strive for positive outcomes to regain your strength, health and independence.

Dining Services

Our mission is to provide our residents a fine dining experience that preserves identity and connections with family and culture; and, in doing so, accommodates each individual's changing needs. We are dedicated to treating our residents as guests. At Bethel Center, we care about our residents' nutritional needs, as well as their personal preferences. Our director of dining services, a certified dietary manager (CDM), works closely with our registered dietician to ensure that individuals are able to have meals that are delicious, balanced and healthy. Residents always have a choice of entrees and therapeutic diets are accommodated in a thoughtful manner. With our seasonal menu and restaurant style dining, residents can choose the foods that they desire. Emphasis is placed on serving our residents attractive and delicious meals in an atmosphere of hospitality which focuses on their comfort and specialized dietary needs at all times.
