Under the direction of the Production Lead, the Production Operator is responsible for all activities related to operating production equipment per the instructions. Also, responsible for adhering to the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Standard Work (SWs) Instructions and Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs) that are in effect assuring the quality and quantity of product produced.

In this role you'll make an impact by:

  • Performing all job requirements in a safe manner using the required PPE.

  • Reporting and addressing unsafe behaviors or equipment to ensure a safe working environment.

  • Being responsible for cleanliness and housekeeping of work area.

  • DemonstratingLock-Out/Tag-Out compliance.

  • Following GMPs and Food Safety compliance to ensure quality products produced are safe to consume.

  • Recording operational and production data legibly, accurately and error free on specified forms.

  • Escalatingdowntime when support is needed.

  • Having apositive pro-company can-do attitude.

  • Operatingequipment within the assigned area and meet production and quality targets daily.

  • Weighing and/or counting product accurately.

  • Accurately check in and out materials.

  • Completing theDisassembly, Clean, Reassembly (DCRs) safely and efficiently.

  • Following SOPs and SWs.

  • Maintaining 5S.

  • Accurately print labels.

  • Completing training on time.

  • Training others as assigned.

  • Participatingin Continuous Improvement Projects.

  • Completing other duties as assigned.

To succeed you must hold:

  • A High School Diploma along with 1 + year of relevantwork experience in a food or dietary supplement manufacturing facility.

  • The ability to be able to work within established routines, methods and procedures under very strict management parameters.

  • The ability to work effectively as a team player in a diverse work group.

  • Personal responsibility for following safety rules, SOPs and cGMP guidelines.

  • The ability to comply with company policies and procedures, maintains regular work attendance.
