  • Play an integral role in the daily operations of the department by ensuring that needed supplies are stocked for the technicians.

Job Description:

The CS Technician Assistant plays an integral role in the daily operations of the CS Department by ensuring that needed supplies are stocked for the CS technicians, by preparing and wrapping or sealing needed casecart supplies and by assisting in putting away casecart stock.

Major Responsibilities:

1. Stock drawers and shelves with supplies used daily by technicians.

2. Prepare and wrap basin sets, prep sets, iris sets and all other reusable supplies needed to stock casecarts.

3. Place items into peel back pouches and seal and label pouches.

4. Place patient charge stickers on casecart supplies and put casecart stock away on appropriate shelves.

5. Fold garbage bags and linen bags, bundle the bags for casecarts.

6. Wipe down supply carts and shelves.

7. Perform other job related duties as assigned.

Education and Learning:

REQUIRED

High School Diploma or equivalency

Work Experience:

DESIRED

1 year previous work in healthcare setting

OSHA Category:

Category I - All Employees in this job title have a reasonably anticipated risk of occupational exposure to blood and/or other potentially infectious materials.

Environmental Conditions:

Exposed to infectious diseases.
