Overview

This role sits within the US Transformation Office, part of the Global Chief Transformation function at Deutsche Bank. The US Transformation Office leads oversight of programs which contribute to the execution of US regulatory remediation and other key regional priority items across multiple workstreams including Anti-Financial Crime, Finance, Treasury, Capital Management, Credit Risk, Market Risk, Model Risk and Technology and Data. The team ensures alignment of the portfolio of projects remains within groupwide strategic priorities and are successfully implemented to achieve the intended benefit and outcomes. For this role specifically, the US Transformation Portfolio Governance & PMO team is looking for experienced and high caliber professionals with financials services and regulatory remediation experience to join our high impact and growing team. This is a unique opportunity to be at the heart of the Bank's transformation, with direct management board member alignment and exposure.

What You'll Do

  • Leads the production of status reports including executive presentations to program sponsors and senior management, ensuring reliable reporting of delivery progress

  • Leads the operationalization of the portfolio's governance model to aid in effective decision making and timely resolution of program roadblocks

  • Leads review and challenge of program deliveries, dependencies, risks and issues to produce value on portfolio and workstream health for various stakeholders' groups and partners

  • Champions PMO best practices ensuring alignment with Group change management policies and standards

  • Supports all Program Office activities including assistance with ad-hoc governance forum material production, PMO process documentation, budget and resource tracking and PMO process design and improvement

Skills You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree preferred

  • Financial services experience required; regulatory remediation and PMO experience preferred

  • Extensive knowledge of program delivery lifecycle controls including business case development, program governance, scope and benefits management, and delivery assurance

Skills That Will Help You Excel

  • Superior communications skillswith demonstrated ability to present and provide reports on complex information to senior executives and executive and board level committees

  • Proven experience in managing effective and sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders to achieve optimal business outcomes

Expectations

It is the Bank's expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank's hybrid working model.

The salary range for this position in New York City is $100,000 to $142,250.Actual salaries may be based on a number of factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's skill set, experience, education, work location and other qualifications. Posted salary ranges do not include incentive compensation or any other type of renumeration.
